Our FLL Summer Camp was an exciting one-week program designed to immerse kids in the world of STEM through hands-on learning and engaging challenges. Throughout the week, the 43 attendees were introduced to the four components of FLL; Robot Design, Robot Game, Innovation Project, and Core Values. The camp encouraged kids to think critically and creatively as they tackled various STEM challenges, such as designing robots. With the guidance of experienced team members, the campers learned how to approach problems methodically, work as a team, and test their solutions—all while having fun and building confidence in their skills.

In addition to robot building, the camp focused on developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills by introducing participants to the types of challenges they would encounter in a First Lego League competition. Kids were able to experiment with different ideas, iterate on their designs, and present their solutions, mimicking the hands-on experience of a real FLL season. By the end of the week, not only did they gain valuable technical skills, but they also experienced firsthand the excitement of tackling complex problems in a collaborative, supportive environment. The FLL Summer Camp was a perfect introduction to the world of robotics and STEM, leaving the campers inspired and ready for future challenges.
