Team Phoenix proudly hosted its second annual FLL Open House in May 2025, an event that, along with the FLL Summer Camp hosted by Team Phoenix, sparked an interest in FLL for many and started 9 FLL teams. Recognizing the potential of these aspiring young innovators, Team Phoenix took the initiative to fully register and fund all nine teams, ensuring they had the resources and support needed to succeed. Team Phoenix specifically provided each team with a LEGO SPIKE Prime robot and an expansion kit. Throughout the season, our team not only provided financial backing but also mentored the new teams, guiding them through the challenges of designing robots, solving complex problems, and refining their projects. We hosted them in our shop for an advanced FLL coding workshop, as well as Innovation Project presentation practice. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of all involved, all of our local FLL teams earned awards at their qualifier competitions and/or advanced to the state level. This achievement reflects the commitment of Team Phoenix to fostering growth in the STEM community and empowering the next generation of leaders in robotics.

This homeschool team coded a brand-new mission in time for the 3rd round of their competition, and they exceeded their expectations in judging. They had a fantastic day, learned so much, and made some great new friends along the way.
